Since I am starting this blog exactly 24 days after starting the journey, you deserve a quick catch up! Day one, I weighed 280 pounds.
This photo was taken 9/20. Just about the day I first started. SURPRISE, I look fat. Cute, but fat. 😀
My “official” weigh in day is now Saturday morning (this helps me not get too crazy on Friday nights), so my weigh-ins since have been:
9/28: 275.4
10/5: 274.2
10/12: 272.2
10/19: ?!?!?!?!?
I started Vinyasa Yoga on 9/26 and I think it was love at first sight. It’s challenging, fun, exciting, always changing and my practice belongs only to me. I get out what I put in, and I find that I seem to be getting stronger and more engaged with each class.
On 10/10 I got my body fat caliper tested. Results below…
Not too good, but you have to have starting data right. I also decided the same day as the test that I might need some extra daily exercise in addition to my yoga, so I have started to do an extra 30 minutes of cardio each day in my work weight room. I am thinking of changing my plan on this, but I will post more on that tomorrow.
