This one catches us up! Got back on track after vacation week and it kicked my system into high gear apparently. Feeling really good! See the scale after the jump!
A week of vacation and even though I am up a little, it’s just a little. I have been working out all week and I had some fun vacation eating – but everything is only temporary. An increase of .4, but for vacation and Thanksgiving, I think I still did pretty well! Also, if you didn’t notice: I got a pedicure. Green is my favorite color.
Good news! You might have thought that since I had stopped posting for a bit, things had gone of the deep end and I was waist deep in a pile of twinkies. On the contrary – life just got very busy for a couple weeks, but I caught up and I am ready to share my progress! Here we go – on 11/16, we were at 263.6, in a week, we are down 5.6, a little much, but that’s okay, just need to keep an eye on it!
Food:
Breakfast: 1 Taco Bell burrito supreme, 1 Taco Bell soft taco, 32 oz Diet Pepsi
Lunch: roasted chicken breast sandwich (two slices whole wheat bread, three slices roasted chicken breast deli meat, mustard)
Dinner: Cheat Meal: 1 Lagunitas IPA, 1 Corona “Light” a few Milton’s multi grain crakers with cream cheese and tomato chile jam, a few corn tortilla chips with salsa, 2 pork carnitas tacos (corn tortillas, carnitas, radishes, non-fat yogurt, hot sauce, ½ C refried beans, ½ C Spanish rice, 4 glasses of wine (2 Montepulciano, 2 Petite Sirah).
**Note** I drank more Diet Soda today, but I am not sure how much –

Today I am grateful for good friends and a good time celebrating Dia de Los Muertos!
Food:
Breakfast: Breakfast Power Pita (1 Whole wheat pita, 1 egg scrambled spinach, bell pepper, onion, mushrooms), 1 thin slice off the bone ham, 1 TBSP shredded “Mexican blend” cheese, 2 tsp ketchup.
Lunch/Dinner (2pm-8pm): “Cheat” Dinner: Since this was my “cheat” meal, I didn’t really keep track of exact amounts, but this is what I had; whole wheat pita with homemade hummus, veggie sticks, and Mediterranean salsa (cucumber, tomato, red onion, feta, vinegar), 2 12oz beers, 2 bbq spare ribs, 1 bbq drumstick, ¾ C red potatoes (butter, garlic, dill), braised collard greens (bacon, chicken stock), 2 slices pickled peach, 1 pickled Brussels sprout, ½ buttered corn cob, 1 chocolate chip cookie, 4(ish) 4oz glasses of wine. When I type it out, the alcohol consumption sounds a little much, I will have to think about that since it didn’t seem so excessive as it was happening…

Had a great time hanging out and having an awesome Sunday feast with some friends, got the house picked up, all and all a great day!
